Very very busy week

Well I am in the middle of sorting out my craftroom. In an effort to get a craftroom suitable for creating tutorial videos.

In the meantime I managed to get a few items created. So in the last 10 days I have been very busy.

1st we spent a day in Llandudno watching the Tour of Britain and I created this Digital Project Life layout using Project Life Everyday Adventure Digital download
Then I spent most of the next few days, sorting out craft stuff, and feeling quite stressed about how I  am going to get everything packed ready for the upheaval of getting the room ready to be painted and then get new furniture in.

So was quite pleased to spend time at Met madams which gave me a little bit of crafting time, where I was able to try out my new Gift Box Punch Board. Which I am totally enamored with. Its ace and this cute stack took less than 20 minutes.

I also bought the paper peircing templates that go with the Oval framlits. Now I must admit I hate paper peircing, and have never enjoyed it. I always ended up with less than sucessful results and it always took too long. After trying the templates, I was amazed at how easy it was and I was really happy with the results.

I have also been working towards the start of classes in Northwich, Cheshire and full details will soon be on my class pages.

So thats it for this post. I hope to be catching up with you later this week

Bye Bye for now

More Autumn winter catalog ideas

So I've been playing with more items that are in the Autumn Winter catalog which will be available to buy from on the 28th August.

Here is the 1st photo

The mat is embossed with Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. Corners of mat and card rounded with envelope punch board.
I used Nordic Noel Designer Series Paper.
Cut out with Tree punch, 3 times. Then fold in the middle and adhere  together to create 3d tree. " . Whisper white punched with 2 inch circle punch. Border and greeting is from Stampin' Up!s Project Life holiday cheer stamp set. I bent the border stamp as I put it onto the block, placed over punched circle. Border was a bit long so when you stamp (real red) position the start and finish where you will place the ribbon.Card edge inked with garden green, Mat inked with real red. Real red ribbon bow.

Second card also uses Nordic Noel papers,
I used the decorative dots embossing folder, and I think it was soft sky Stamp and write marker. . On the side of the embossing folder that has the dots indented I scribbled some small areas of blue marker with the side of the pen tip. Then gently smudged it with my fingers. Then ran it through the embossing folder.

For the snow drifts randomly cut  Dazzling Diamond paper  with a smooth curvy shape on one edge. layer two as shown across base of card trim any excess.

I cut out the houses from the Nordic Noel paper, I cut the red house just below the 1st window , then moved bottom up to hide 1st windows and adhered. Then adhered to card just behind top drift of snow with dimentionals. Then added second house with dimentionals with about 1 third of base behind snow drift and two thirds on top .  Stamped a tree with the Festival of trees stamp and punched it with Tree punch . The Joy is a die from the Wonderful Wreath framelits, (has a matching stamp set, and will be available as a bundle) I cut it once in red and once in Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper. Then I slightly offset moving offset up , down, left , right to create a calligraphy style shadow.

The next two cards both use White Christmas stamp set, Anyone who buys the White Christmas stamp set from me, will receive an e mail of these two card instructions.
