My recommended basic tool box for crafting excellence!

As a beginner  you may be wondering what tools to buy, there is such a wide range and variety of crafting tools that it really is hard to know what tyou need .

So here are my recomendations

Just want to try crafting but not sure whether you will want to continue

A pencil, eraser and ruler.

A range of adhesives (wet dry and dimentionals) all available below

Scissors ( Stampin' Up! paper snips are fantastic, great for all papercrafting techniques)

A  ready made kit like the Simply sent kits or the Yay for Cards bundle

Know that you are going to keep crafting

Good cardstock I recommend Whisper White as  a starting point you can use this for the card base and the feature elements!

Paper trimmer (again the Stampin' Up! trimmer is excellent it cuts a full 12 inches and is also a scorer ) So much easier than a craft knife and ruler.

A range of Stamp and Write markers, as many or as few as you want but you will need a black marker .These will enable you to write on the card. to stamp with and to colour with and do watercolour effects with as well.

Acrylic block or blocks ( love the clear block stamps as they take up less room and work out cheaper too) if you are only buying one then I recommend the E block as most stamps will fit on this (If you find you are having difficulty positioning a stamped image then you may need the Stamp-a-ma-jig, which guarantee perfect positioning every time)

At least one stamp set that you love. I recommend one with a few images and a few greetings like the Timeless talk set or Sketched Birthday set. You can achieve a lot with one good stamp set. Create the backgrounds, feature of the card and the greetings. Plus achieve many techniques .

Want to make dimentional projects

Envelope punch board. This enables you to make so many things. Boxes, paper bows, baskets, envelopes, box envelopes and crackers, to name only a few things plus it has an amzing corner rounder to round the corners of your card (always looks effective especially if the feature panel also has roundedcorners)

A paper pack. The craft paper look is very trendy at the moment and The Natural Composition paper pack will give you that, you can also add splashes of colour to it with your Stamp and Write Markers and
